What role you will play in our team

As a Sr. Tailings Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining tailings deposition plans, ensuring alignment with mine production schedules, geotechnical requirements, and regulatory frameworks. Working closely with Mine Planning, Geotechnical, Operations, and Closure teams, the Sr. Tailings Engineer evaluates scenarios, prepares detailed deposition schematics, and provides technical guidance to ensure operational execution matches planning intent.

What you will do

Key Responsibilities:

• Be a safety leader – support and adhere by all standards and producers and operate with safety as a value
• Develop tailings plans, ensuring alignment with mine production, dyke construction, and regulatory requirements
• Integrate tailings deposition strategies with mine sequencing, water management needs, and available storage capacity
• Prepare presentations, schedules, and visualizations for management and stakeholders
• Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to junior staff
• Provide technical support to field operations and contributes to continuous improvement of tailings planning processes, tools, and standards.

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Civil or Geological Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility with APEGA is required
• 8+ years of experience in tailings engineering, planning, or operations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and coordination skills
• Highly motivated individual with ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

• Oil sands tailings planning experience

On February 15, 2023, ExxonMobil broke ground on construction of a new technology center at the Dayawan Petrochemical Industrial Park. Dayawan Technology Center will focus on developing new high performance products and innovative processes to bring products to commercial scale.

What role you will play in our team

This job is part of Higher Olefins and Higher Alcohols Technology in supporting manufacturing plants, identifying process improvement opportunities and investigating new feedstocks or products.

This work requires pilot units which can run at actual manufacturing conditions and simulate process flows. Some pilot runs are focused on catalyst testing, while others produce materials to be validated either in-house or with customers.

The pilot units are supported by a dedicated lab with advanced and even unique techniques required for full characterization of feed, intermediate samples and products

What you will do

Imperial Oil is currently looking to hire a Senior Mine Reclamation & Closure Planner to provide subject matter expertise for reclamation and closure planning at the Kearl oilsands site. This role will be office based and located in Calgary, initially. Relocation to Edmonton will be a requirement in approximately mid-2028. Occasional travel to Kearl will be encouraged.

This role is accountable for mine reclamation and closure planning across the full asset lifecycle, from early conceptual studies through detailed design, regulatory approval, and execution during operations. The role plays a critical stewardship function by ensuring closure objectives are integrated into mine planning, regulatory obligations are met, and long‑term reclamation liabilities are responsibly managed.

Key areas of accountability include:

Ownership of the Life‑of‑Mine Closure Plan, including development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of associated closure cost and liability estimates.
Leadership of reclamation stockpile and closure landform design, from conceptual studies through detailed engineering, ensuring technical robustness and regulatory alignment.
Planning and technical validation of annual reclamation programs, including soil survey programs, seed collection, material geochemical characterization, soil salvage, and permanent reclamation placement.
Technical leadership for regulatory applications, submissions, and reporting.
Integration of reclamation and closure considerations into long‑range mine planning, including participation in continuous improvement studies and mine plan optimization initiatives.

Additional responsibilities may include:

Development, review, and maintenance of internal standards, guidelines, and technical practices.
Representing Imperial in industry working groups and external forums.

About you

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication
Main reporting toolsets: PowerBI, Tableau, Python (using visualization library)
3+ years of experience in data engineering, data pipeline development, or related roles.
Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data integration, and cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred).

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data pipeline tools (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Factory).
Familiarity with ML/AI concepts, including feature engineering, model data preparation, and data optimization for training/inference.

What role you will play in our team

Your office is at the European Technology and Engineering Complex located in Machelen, Belgium. However, international travel is required to collaborate with technical colleagues located at the Baytown Technology and Engineering Complex is Baytown, Texas, and commercial colleagues located at the ExxonMobil Campus in Spring, Texas.

What will you do

Provide on-site technical support for customers producing composites via vacuum assisted (VA) and high pressure (HP) resin transfer molding (RTM), pultrusion, and filament winding processes.
Provide on-site technical support for customers producing non-reinforced molded goods through open mold and reaction injection molding (RIM) processes.
Assist customers in optimizing / troubleshooting their process to run ProxximaTM resins and, where needed, provide guidance on equipment upgrades.
Provide technical insights gleaned from the market to help guide new application developments.
Provide market insights to inform and update business strategy.
Author technical reports and technical publications to share learnings.
Co-author promotional brochures and technical data sheets highlighting performance benefits.
Train and mentor less experienced colleagues.

About you

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

B.S. in Engineering.
10+ years of experience fabricating or supervising manufacturing of thermoset composites.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and influence from afar skills.
Proficient in use of computers and possess excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Experience in reaction injection molding (RIM) and/or high-pressure resin transfer molding (HPRTM) is a plus.
Good team player and self-motivated.
Fluent English is required.

Your role is to demonstrate the application and performance advantages of ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset coatings technology and help prospective customers adopt it for use in their existing coating products.

Your office is at the European Technology center located in Brussels, Belgium. However, a significant part of your time will be spent collaborating with technical and commercial colleagues located at the Baytown Technology and Engineering Complex (BTEC), in Baytown, TX, as well as occasionally traveling internationally to support customer trials.

What will you do

Provide technical support to prospective EU customers using Proxxima™ polyolfefin thermoset resins and catalysts to develop anti-corrosion, marine, atmospheric, and other industrial coatings.
Educate customers on the advantages of coatings based on pure Proxxima™ polyolfefin thermoset products and hybrids combining ProxximaTM resins and catalysts with epoxy, urethane, aspartic urea, and siloxane, to optimize coating performance for the numerous applications within these segments.
Collaborate with technical and commercial colleagues to help grow the Proxxima™ business in this segment.
Collaborate with technical colleagues at our Baytown, Texas facilities to fabricate smooth, defect-free coating samples needed to assess corrosion resistance and other performance parameters mimicking targeted industrial service conditions.
Assist customers in process optimization and, where needed, provide guidance on equipment upgrades.
Provide technical insights gleaned from the market to help guide new product and application developments.

What you will do

Identify, recommend, execute and oversee regional (potentially global) profit improve initiatives including management of change
Optimize product lines and/or grade slates (prioritize new product needs, decommissions, sustainability initiatives, SKU cost-to-serve)

About you

University degree in a technical field preferred; business administration or similar acceptable with relevant work experience
Prior work experience; previous product management or manufacturing experience is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook with working knowledge of intermediate Excel features (e.g., pivot tables) required
Fluent English is a must, including communication clarity

De Antwerp Polymers Plant, die speciale polyethyleensoorten produceert en gevestigd is in Zwijndrecht en de Meerhout Polymers Plant, een van de grootste LDPE-fabrikanten in Europa, zijn complementaire sites. Om de sterke punten van beide fabrieken optimaal te benutten, zijn ze organisatorisch samengevoegd.

Wat is je rol?

Als E&I onderhoudstechnieker sta je in voor het veilig, betrouwbaar en efficiënt functioneren van elektrische installaties, meet en regelapparatuur, procesinstrumentatie en automatiseringssystemen binnen een industriële productieomgeving.

Jij voert preventief, curatief en predictief onderhoud uit om stilstanden te voorkomen en de operationele continuïteit te garanderen.

Wat ga je doen?

1. Elektrisch onderhoud

• Opsporen, analyseren en oplossen van elektrische storingen aan:

o Motoren, frequentieregelaars (VFD), softstarters
o Verdeelborden, MCC’s en laag /middenspanningsinstallaties
o Bekabeling, aansluitingen en beveiligingscomponenten

• Uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud volgens planning
• Uitvoeren van schakel- en isolatiewerkzaamheden volgens LOTO procedures
• Controleren van elektrische schema’s en up to date houden van documentatie

2. Instrumentatie & meet- en regeltechniek

• Onderhoud en kalibratie van:

o Druk-, temperatuur-, niveau en debietmeters
o Analyzers (pH, O₂, geleidbaarheid, gasanalyse…)
o Pneumatische en elektrische regelkleppen
o Transmitters, sensoren, signaalketens
• Afstellen, finetunen en testen van instrumenten na interventies
• Diagnoses stellen bij foutieve meetwaarden of instabiele processen

3. Automatisatie & PLC gerelateerde taken

• Ondersteunen bij foutanalyses op PLC gestuurde installaties ( Siemens / IMA )
• Basis aanpassingen in HMI/SCADA (indien toegelaten door engineering)
• Kennis van signaaltypes (4 20 mA, HART, Profibus, Profinet, Modbus)

4. Mechanisch inzicht (basis)

• Begrip van werking van pompen, compressoren, afsluiters en rotating equipment om elektrische/instrumentatieproblemen beter te kunnen diagnosticeren
• Samenwerken met mechaniekers bij multidisciplinaire jobs

5. Rapportering & administratie

• Correct registreren van interventies in het onderhoudssysteem (SAP, Ultimo, Maximo…)
• Bijdragen aan RCA’s (Root Cause Analysis) en verbeteren van onderhoudsprocedures
• Updaten van tekeningen, E schema’s en instrumentatielijsten

6. Veiligheid & compliance

• Werken volgens geldende veiligheidsnormen (LOTO, ATEX, Veiligheidsprocedures,permit to work,...)
• Uitvoeren van controle en testprocedures volgens bedrijfs- en wettelijke standaarden
• Actief bijdragen aan een veilige werkcultuur en nemen van initiatief bij onveilige situaties

Jij hebt/Jij bent:

Industrieel Ingenieur - Professionele Bachelor diploma in Elektriciteit, Elektronica ICT, Elektromechanica, Industriële automatisering
Ervaring in industrie (chemie, petrochemie, farma, voeding, energie, metaal…) is een troef
Communicatief sterk en een teamspeler
Gemotiveerd, leergierig met zin voor initiatief en goed analytisch vermogen voor technische problemen
