What Role You Will Play on Our Team

 

You will serve as a strategic intelligence and emerging risk advisor, helping the organization anticipate, understand, and respond to global developments that could create risks or opportunities for the business. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying early indicators of change, assessing their potential impact, and ensuring that leadership has timely, actionable insights to support decision-making.

You will work across functions to strengthen the company's strategic risk capabilities, drive continuous improvement in risk identification and assessment processes, and help integrate forward-looking intelligence into enterprise risk management activities. You will also serve as a key liaison with external experts, consultants, and thought leaders to bring fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to emerging risk analysis.

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Analyze global trends and identify early signals of potential disruptions, strategic risks, and emerging opportunities.
  • Monitor and maintain a portfolio of risk and opportunity signposts to support proactive decision-making.
  • Develop and deliver emerging risk reports, trend analyses, and executive-ready intelligence products.
  • Support the design and enhancement of risk dashboards, signpost tracking tools, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Coordinate special projects focused on strategic and emerging risk initiatives.
  • Lead or facilitate workshops, scenario discussions, and cross-functional engagements on emerging risk topics.
  • Partner with third-party consultants, think tanks, and external experts to gather insights and coordinate risk-focused engagements.
  • Ensure signpost monitoring and emerging risk intelligence are effectively integrated into enterprise risk management processes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to risk identification, intelligence gathering, and assessment methodologies.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of risk governance practices and enterprise resilience capabilities.
  • Promote innovative intelligence, foresight, and analytical techniques to improve risk monitoring and strategic planning

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Master's degree preferred (MBA, MPP, MA in International Affairs, Security Studies, Economics, or related discipline).
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to convert complex information into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level briefings and reports.

 

 Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

 

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic risk, enterprise risk management, intelligence analysis, geopolitical risk, strategy, consulting, public policy, government affairs, or a related field.
  • Experience monitoring global political, economic, technological, regulatory, and societal trends and assessing their business implications.
  • Proven track record of identifying emerging risks and opportunities and communicating findings to senior leaders.
  • Experience developing risk indicators, signposts, early-warning systems, or horizon-scanning programs.
  • Experience producing strategic intelligence products, trend reports, scenario analyses, or risk assessments.
  • Demonstrated success facilitating workshops, tabletop exercises, scenario planning sessions, or cross-functional risk discussions.
  • Experience working with external experts, think tanks, research organizations, consultancies, or industry associations.
  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative risk assessment methodologies.
  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

Your benefits

  • The expected annual salary range for this position is $185,000 - $230,000. Individual pay will be determined based on various factors, which may include skills, abilities, qualifications, work experience, and education.
  • Pension Plan: Enrollment is automatic and at no cost to you. The basic benefit is a monthly annuity to be paid to you in retirement for the rest of your life.
  • Savings Plan: You can contribute between 6% and 20% of your pay and are encouraged to enroll right away. If you contribute at least 6% to your savings plan, the Company will contribute a 7% match.
