Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited (ETL) - an integrated petroleum refining, petrochemical, and marketing company with a full range of downstream operations - one refinery with chemical/aromatics units in Sriracha, a network of distribution terminals, nationwide Esso-branded service stations, and a strong lubricants presence under the Esso and Mobil brands.

What you will do

Capital project responsible 

  • Lead capital project activities starting from development (feasibility, FEED), thru execution (EPC), until commissioning
  • Proactively manage overall capital project performance including scheduling, expenditure monitoring and forecast, identify variance and correction, etc.
  • Responsible for providing project stakeholder with routine update, proactively communicate on project issues and threats, and get alignment for all parties
  • Develop project schedule, cost estimate, project safety plan and quality control plan 
  • Oversight project contractor to execute flawless construction according to safety requirement and quality control
  • Lead and motivate a team of technician staffs and contractors as well as applying Loss Prevention System (LPS) tools to strive for flawless operations
  • Proactively participate in process safety activities such as planning for decommissioning/commissioning of process equipment, participate in process safety risk assessment (e.g. HAZOP)
  • Lead develop technical contract terms and closely work with procurement to ensure all contract was at competitive price and good quality

Maintenance responsible 

  • Lead and oversight preventive maintenance, repair, trouble shoot and analyze the equipment integrity involving mechanical/E&I/civil works  
  • Develop and execute engineering reliability strategy on equipment integrity program for the sites such as risk-based analysis
  • Provide maintenance technical advice/expertise through data analysis such as root cause analysis, failure mode effect analysis 
  • Lead coordination with regional maintenance network to adopt Best Practice and apply to the sites
  • Establish budgeting plan overall sites maintenance.  Oversight and prepare regular reporting and stewardship on cost (within budget) and performance (no overdue)
  • Set standard and expectation for contractor and ensure compliance with company guideline in aspect of safety, quality and performance

About you

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or Mechatronic Engineer 
  • English fluency (read, write, listen, speak) – TOEIC minimum 700
  • At least experience 5 years in maintenance, project or related fields; preferable in oil & gas, chemical, or related industry
  • Proficiency in local and international code, e.g. API, NFPA, ASME, IEC, etc.
  • Experience in maintenance portfolio or capital project management and stewardship  
  • Knowledge in process and personal safety 
  • Good analytical and computer skill (MS office).  Experience in SAP would be beneficial
  • Strong personality, high responsibility, able to work under pressure  
  • Work in proactive, creative and enthusiastic
  • Office base in Sriracha terminal and able to work in other locations depend on assignment
