About You
We set the bar high and know you do, too. We are hiring Bachelor Degree graduates in engineering technology, Construction Management, or another STEM program, that can start working in 2027. Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Recently graduated or upcoming graduation date in a Bachelors degree program; preferred degrees include Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or similar programs with strong academic performance
- Problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- No prior experience in oil and gas needed. On-the-job mentorship as well as formal classroom training will be provided on theories and principles of drilling and well management.
What role you will play in our team
As a Well Operations Supervisor you will direct and manage well site operations including drilling, completions, frac and workover. This function works in support of the ExxonMobil Well’s Organization to conduct worldwide oil and gas well drilling, workover, and completion operations with an emphasis on safety, cost, and efficiency improvement. You will have the opportunity to travel domestically and internationally to both onshore and offshore drilling rig-based site locations while working in a team environment and with diverse cultures.
This position is a rotation schedule; you will work on the drilling rig site for two to four weeks (location dependent), then will be off for a corresponding amount of time. On-the-job mentorship as well as formal classroom training will be provided on theories and principles of drilling and well management.
This position is designated safety sensitive and is subject to a background check and drug and alcohol testing as required by ExxonMobil’s Alcohol and Drug Program.
What you will do
- Work as part of a Wells Team in line with other operations staff, engineering staff and materials & contracting personnel to implement the drilling/completion/wellwork well design.
- Travel to well sites to supervise drilling/workover/completion operations.
- This position works a rotational schedule; you will work on the well site (i.e. drilling rig, frac site, etc.) for two to four weeks (location dependent), then will be off for a corresponding amount of time.
- Organize and prioritize well site activities with a focus on safety, operations integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze and communicate ongoing well-related operations, performance, and events while participating in the Wells Team’s efforts to correct and improve performance.
- All new hires will be provided a Formal Mentor and training and development roadmap on how to build competency in Well Operations while rotating through all three Wells disciplines: drilling, completions and well management within their first two years with ExxonMobil as part of the Well Operations BIT (Baseline Introductory Training) Program.

Compensation
Individual pay will be determined based on various factors including degree/education, discipline, skills, abilities, qualifications, and work experience.
Additional compensation, such as Rotational Premiums, are available to those working a rotational schedule (such as this role). Premium amount is based on location of work, schedule, and difficulty of living
