About Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Feedstock Advisor to lead the development and execution of strategic feedstock opportunities for our Graphite Materials business. This external-facing role requires deep needle coke and petroleum coke market expertise, strong commercial judgment, and a demonstrated ability to structure and execute complex feedstock commercial agreements. The successful candidate will translate deep feedstock and needle coke expertise into executable commercial strategies that strengthen supply resilience and deliver long-term business value.
What you will do
- Develop and execute feedstock strategies that support the growth and competitiveness of the Graphite Materials business.
- Identify and evaluate feedstock opportunities based on quality, availability, processing requirements, logistics, supply reliability, economics, and risk.
- Lead complex agreements from opportunity identification through negotiation, approval, execution, and implementation, including feedstock purchases, long-term supply arrangements, and tolling agreements.
- Support M&A, joint venture, investment, and asset-related activities through commercial evaluation, due diligence, negotiation strategy, and transaction execution.
- Lead high-value negotiations and build trusted relationships with Director and Senior Director-level decision-makers at suppliers, processors, logistics providers, & strategic partners.
- Design commercial structures that maximize value while managing operational, supply, market, counterparty, geopolitical, regulatory, and financial risks.
- Apply deep needle coke and petroleum coke expertise to connect feedstock characteristics with process performance, product quality, manufacturing reliability, and end-market value.
- Develop market and competitive insights, build executive-level recommendations, and align cross-functional stakeholders on commercial positions and decisions.
- Build and maintain a strong external network across the petroleum, refining, needle coke, and graphite value chains.
About you
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 20+ years of relevant industry experience, including 10+ years of direct experience in the needle coke & petroleum coke markets.
- Deep knowledge of needle coke feedstocks, manufacturing processes, product requirements, industry participants, market dynamics, and value-chain economics.
- Proven success structuring, negotiating, and closing complex feedstock, supply, processing, tolling, partnership, or other non-standard commercial agreements.
- Experience leading & supporting M&A, joint venture, strategic investment, asset transaction, or corporate development activities.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior external counterparties and align diverse internal stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent executive communication, commercial judgment, negotiation, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in global and ambiguous business environments.
