ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will plan on our team
The Global Agency & Marketing Operations (GAMO) Advisor, as part of the EMPS Finished Lubricants team, is responsible for providing marketing operations support across several marketing programs. The position must direct business/projects on agency oversight and compliance, marcom spend optimization, agency operating model strategies, and cross-value chain best practices sharing. This role will also frequently interact with and manage agencies and vendors as well as have significant interaction with multiple markets and business units across the Fuels and Lubricants businesses within EMPS. This role is located in Spring, TX and works under the day to day direction of the Global Agency & Marketing Operations manager
What you will do
- Agency management compliance across fuels & lubes: owns audits, contract compliance reviews, third party invoice verification, acts as liaison between agency, controllers/auditors, and business units to ensure processes are followed and understood.
- Agency management: performance assessment and agency support. Owns agency evaluation surveys including design, execution, communication & follow up for each business unit.
- Generates insights/lessons-learned and ensures solution implementation as well as cross-market best practice sharing.
- Cross Value Chain (CVC) Network Coordination: responsible for curating and managing CVC meetings (content, presentations, follow-ups), including annual meeting.
- Fuels & Lubes Marketing Communications & Agency Management Training Owner - Responsible for developing annual training calendar based on assessed gaps and operations / process improvements including training content owner and selecting training delivery.
- Marketing communications documentation owner: controls catalog, planning templates, marketing content development process, media process, third party invoicing, training documents, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining current content, repository and overall SharePoint management.
- Annual marcom planning process owner. Works with media and creative managers to plan annual calendar, update templates, communication to business units and ensure process timeline adherence
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- B.S. in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in marketing, specifically areas such as: agency and vendor management, campaign development and execution, media buying, and performance tracking.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions, agencies, and markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) with strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America as needed.
Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing operations, budget management, compliance/audit, and communications, preferably within a media agency or corporate marketing environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and external service providers, with a focus on building productive relationships and delivering results.
- Customer-focused team player with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for marketing operations.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
