What role you will play on our team
The Senior Red Team Operator leads offensive security operations to simulate real-world cyber threats, assess organizational defenses, and improve detection and response capabilities. This role involves advanced penetration testing, adversary emulation, and collaboration with Blue Teams to strengthen security posture.
What you will do
- Adversary Simulation & Penetration Testing:
• Plan and execute red team engagements simulating advanced persistent threats (APTs), phishing, lateral movement, and privilege escalation.
• Conduct full exploitation across diverse environments including Active Directory, Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms.
- Security Assessment & Reporting:
- Perform detailed risk assessments and vulnerability analysis on enterprise systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Document findings and deliver technical and executive-level reports with actionable remediation strategies.
- Tooling & Automation:
- Develop and customize tools to evade detection by AV, EDR, and other security technologies.
- Script automation for testing procedures using Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Lead small red teams and manage engagement delivery.
- Work closely with Blue Teams to improve detection and response capabilities.
- Training & Advisory:
- Educate stakeholders on threat tactics and mitigation strategies.
- Advise on technical and policy matters related to information security.
About you
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years in offensive security, red teaming, or penetration testing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in penetration testing tools
- Deep understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and threat actor TTPs.
- 3+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security controls.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Python, Bash, PowerShell, C/C++, or Java.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One or more of the following certifications: OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, GPEN, GXPN, CEH, CRTP.
- AI Red Teaming experience
