What Role You Will Play on Our Team
We are seeking a Global Fuels Site Image & Brand Standards Advisor to lead the governance, evolution, and execution of brand and site standards across the Fuels Value Chain. This role ensures consistent and high-quality brand expression globally while driving innovation in site design, technical standards, and vendor partnerships to enhance consumer experience.As part of the Fuels Marketing organization, Global Brand leads the development and stewardship of our brand across markets. The team sets brand strategy and standards, shapes consumer experiences, and delivers actionable insights that inform business decisions. Working collaboratively with regional and functional stakeholders, Global Brand ensures a cohesive and distinctive brand presence that drives preference and growth.
What You Will Do
Brand Standards & Governance
- Own and enforce fuels site image and brand standards across global markets
- Manage site image governance, including design and image exception processes
- Provide ongoing guidance, training, and advocacy to ensure consistent brand execution across the Fuels Value Chain
- Support trademark governance activities, including registrations, renewals, proof of use, and infringement mitigation in partnership with legal teams
Site Image Standards & Evolution
- Develop, update, and socialize site image guidelines, standards, and templates
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evolve forecourt and limited backcourt design strategies for refreshes, new market entries, joint ventures, and rebranding initiatives
- Support test-and-learn pilots to validate next-generation site image concepts and innovations
Technical & Design Oversight
- Lead the development and validation of technical and design specifications that support global consistency while enabling regional flexibility
- Challenge partners to deliver innovative, durable, and value-engineered solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide backup support for senior leadership on brand standards and site image governance
Market & Industry Insight
- Monitor consumer, retail, and design trends to inform brand and site image strategy
- Identify opportunities for image upgrades that support premium positioning and market differentiation
- Track competitive activity and emerging technologies relevant to retail environments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with regional business units, field marketing, sales, legal, procurement, and brand strategy teams
- Provide training and education on brand standards, site image guidelines, and exception processes
- Support rebranding, synergy phase-outs, and other major brand transitions from a site image perspective
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze site image and design exception activity to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Contribute to quality assessments and governance processes, ensuring findings are addressed and closed
- Maintain accurate, current brand and image standards documentation across global platforms
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in brand strategy and standards, retail design, site image governance, or related disciplines
- Experience supporting multi-market or global retail brands strongly preferred
Skills & Attributes
- Deep understanding of brand governance, design systems, and retail environments
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex brand and technical requirements into practical guidance
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a global, matrixed organization
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
