Job Role Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor fuels and LPG facilities, including product receipt, storage, loading, distribution, and bottling operations, to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted supply to customers.
  • Coordinate the receipt and delivery of fuels and LPG with relevant stakeholders, including Refinery, Customer Service, Fleet, Retail, Engineering, and other support functions, to achieve flawless terminal operations.
  • Prepare, handle, and reconcile fuels, LPG products, additives, dyes, and inventory movements, ensuring stock accuracy and gain/loss performance remains within established targets.
  • Monitor product movements, investigate and support the prevention of stock losses, and ensure loading operations are conducted using calibrated and certified custody transfer equipment in accordance with Hydrocarbon Control Practice requirements.
  • Support work control activities by preparing, issuing, and administering permits and documentation in accordance with established Work Control Procedures while performing the responsibilities of Site Authority, Performing Authority, and Issuing Authority as assigned.
  • Ensure maintenance, inspection, and engineering activities are executed safely and efficiently, and coordinate with maintenance personnel to maintain terminal facilities in a safe and operable condition.
  • Adhere to operational procedures and management system requirements, including Safety, Security, Health and Environment (SSHE), OIMS, CIMS, GPQMS, Hydrocarbon Control Practices (HCP), and System of Management Control standards.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of safety, operational discipline, quality, security, and housekeeping across all terminal activities.
  • Participate in emergency response activities, drills, and training programs, and maintain competency in handling operational upsets and emergency situations.
  • Train, assess, and communicate safe operating requirements to drivers, haulers, contractors, and third-party personnel, including the use of the Terminal Automation System (TAS).
  • Support audits, assessments, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives, and provide feedback on operational procedures and opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and respond to operational and customer-related issues to ensure service reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Seek appropriate approvals before implementing changes to facilities, operating processes, or P&ID configurations.
  • Perform any other operational or business-related duties assigned by management to support terminal objectives.

  • Ensure safe, compliant, and flawless operation of Jurong Terminal fuel and LPG facilities.
  • Maintain continuity of fuels and LPG supply and delivery to meet customer and business requirements.
  • Achieve operational excellence while minimizing product losses and maintaining inventory integrity.
  • Uphold the highest standards of SSHE, quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCE “O” Levels or Diploma Holder.
