Job Role Description

Responsible for co-sales development & executing sales plan encompassing an assigned portfolio as well as larger scope/sector plans aligned with global strategies.

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Implement local sales plan to meet annual Planning & Budget and marketing plan objectives
  • Remain fully abreast of market conditions, trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities
  • Apply selling skills and consistently execute the sales processes such as sales pipeline management including regular analysis and follow-up
  • Manage credit and pricing consistency with defined offer standards
  • Meet opex objectives for area of responsibility
  • Support Channel Partners (e.g. Distribution) by providing sales pipeline coaching, account planning/management, and sell-out support to their staff
  • Effective and efficient use of internal expertise, e.g. Sales Development (SD), Sales & Marketing Operations (SMO), Customer Service (CAS), Field Engineering & Technology (CAD) and/or Marketing resources to deliver customer valued solutions
  • Incorporate supply chain strengths in tactical account activities
  • Apply coaching and communication techniques to build positive relationships with channel partners, customers and internal functions
  • Promote value selling of Fluids portfolio in the region/territory, meeting business targets of volume, UVM and TVM

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Fluids Market Development Representative (MDR/MFR) or in a similar commercial role within the fluids, solvents, or chemicals industry.
  • A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline is an advantage, particularly for candidates with knowledge of the fluids and solvents market in Brazil.
  • Strong understanding of commercial strategies, market development, and customer engagement within the chemical industry.
  • Candidates with extensive sales experience and relevant industry expertise will also be strongly considered, even if they do not have a technical chemistry or chemical engineering background.
  • Experience working with customers, distributors, and partners across the value chain is preferred.
