Rotterdam Area

 

The head office of the Benelux organisation is situated in Breda. The production plants are located in the Rotterdam port area.

  • The Rotterdam refinery is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly of its kind. Since being put into operation in 1960, the plant has undergone several renovations. The sizeable capital investments through the years have made the refinery ultra-efficient.
  • Officially called the Rotterdam Plasticizers & Intermediates Plant, the Rotterdam Oxo-alcohols Plant actually comprises three production facilities: the Rotterdam Oxo-Alcohol Plant in Europoort, the Phthalic Anhydride Plant and the Rotterdam Plasticizer Plant, which are both located in Rotterdam Botlek. It is the largest producer of plasticizers in Europe.
  • The Pernis Lubricant Plant - or Lube Oil Blending Plant - produces various types of engine oil for cars and lubricants for industrial applications.

 

What role you will play in our team ?

 

ExxonMobil is looking for a Dispatcher. Primary Job Functions:

 

  • In this varied position your main responsibility is the control and correct distribution of import and export shipping documents (vessel, barge & truck) 
  • Daily planning and coordination of petroleum coke truck loadings
  • Providing support in resolution of any customs issues or queries related to customs clearance 
  • Preparing customs forms and filling paperwork with government agencies
  • Communicating with customers and carriers to ensure they understand the import and export process
  • Supporting the month-end close by processing invoices for transportation and surveying costs and preparing reports for the receipts of bio-ethanol and additives
  • Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments

 

About you

 

Requirements:

 

  • Experience with export/import activities (+5 years’ experience)
  • Customer-oriented 
  • Attention to detail
  • Adaptable to time pressure and changing work priorities
  • Exert and maintain a high level of energy, effort and drive to get the job done (self propelling)
  • Driving optimization and improvements
  • Able to work well with others throughout the organization and with outside parties
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, good oral and written English language skills. German is a pre
  • Due the nature of marine operations, should be flexible with work hours (day position with call-out)
  • Passion for safety and able to drive improvements
