We are looking for Engineering Students and recent / upcoming Engineering Graduates who are eager to explore careers with us. Opportunities include positions in process surveillance, electrical power systems, instrumentation and controls, computer networks and systems, civil, geotechnical, machinery, mechanical integrity and pipelines.

What role you will play in our team

As a Graduate Science Intern, you will be deployed in the Operations Technical organization for ~10 weeks to better understand ExxonMobil PNG and contribute to the laboratory activities being conducted there. The position is based at the Hides Gas Conditioning Plant in Hela or Liquefied Natural Gas Plant near Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

About you

Applicant to this program, must be a PNG Citizen or PNG Permanent Resident.

Skills and Qualifications,

Graduate Science Intern:

• Must be studying a bachelor’s degree in science (Chemistry / Applied Chemistry) and in the last two years of their education (Commence internship in November 2026)

Successful candidates will have,

• Excellent academic performance
• Exceptional leadership qualities
• Strong communications and problem-solving skills
• Experience utilizing in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
