What role you will play in our team
- The Marine technician supports operations, maintenance, and logistics activities associated with maintaining the safe and efficient operations of marine asset, leveraging their knowledge and experience to provide hands-on support and technical expertise

What you will do
- Utilize knowledge and experience to support safe and efficient operations and maintenance of marine assets used in the course of the corporation’s business, potentially including F(P)SO’s, tank vessels, offshore support vessels, offshore platforms, marine terminals, etc.
- Help to ensure marine operations are conducted safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry standards.
- Help ensure SSHE policy and programs protect people, the environment, assets, and reputation.
- Help ensure compliance with policies & procedures, applicable laws & regulations, industry standards, operating guidelines, and best practices.
- May serve as a designated watchstander for marine assets, including but not limited to F(P)SO’s, Terminals, Platforms, etc.
- Assists with onboard drills, training, and emergency response requirements.
- Support, monitor, and help troubleshoot marine asset operating systems.
- Support resolution of marine issues relating to terminal interfaces
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- OOW (Officers of the watch) certificate; minimum 3 years experience
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Ability to adapt, creativity and innovation, good understanding and identification of workplace hazards; analytical and courage of conviction. Ability to influence without authority and interacts effectively with operation and maintenance organizations. Demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse groups; able to network effectively within organizations.
- Technical Knowledge & Equipment Operation: Previous FSO or FPSO experience preferred; tanker or LNG experience
