Job Role Responsibilities

As an Associate Machinery Engineer, you will support the performance, reliability, maintenance, and improvement of critical machinery such as turbines, compressors, pumps, gearboxes, extruders, and specialty equipment. Working with senior engineers, you will gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, failure analysis, maintenance optimization, reliability improvement, technology application, and fleet data analysis.
What You Will Do
- Support daily machinery operations and help resolve equipment performance issues.
- Monitor rotating equipment condition, reliability, and performance trends.
- Assist in failure analysis, incident investigations, risk assessments, and reliability programs.
- Support maintenance planning, shutdowns, turnarounds, start-ups, and commissioning activities.
- Contribute to Management of Change activities, equipment modifications, and capital projects.
- Analyze operational and maintenance data to identify reliability improvement opportunities.
- Work with senior engineers, suppliers, and technical communities to share knowledge and apply proven technologies.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Process Equipment Engineering, or equivalent.
- 0–5 years of relevant experience; internships or early-career experience in petrochemical, refining, manufacturing, energy, or heavy industry will be an advantage.
- Strong interest in rotating equipment and machinery systems.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong ownership, teamwork, and learning mindset.
- Ability to communicate in English for work-related discussions and documentation.
