What role you will play in our team

 

The SAP Security, Design & Governance Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, governing, and supporting SAP security solutions across multiple SAP platforms. This role partners closely with SAP Centers of Excellence (CoE), technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure and compliant access management while supporting implementation, upgrade, migration, and transformation initiatives. The position also provides security advisory services, troubleshooting support, and continuous improvement of SAP security processes and controls.

What you will do

 

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations across SAP ABAP, HANA, Fiori, NWBC, and SAP BTP environments.
  • Manage SAP security administration activities, including user provisioning, role and profile maintenance, authorization management, and governance.
  • Support SAP implementation, upgrade, migration, and transformation projects by ensuring security requirements are effectively designed and implemented.
  • Perform security analysis, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and resolution of authorization and access-related issues.
  • Partner with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure the secure integration of business processes and technology solutions.
  • Support SAP change management processes, including transports and ChaRM activities.

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience in SAP Security design, administration, and governance.
  • Experience supporting full lifecycle SAP implementations, including installations, upgrades, migrations, and transformation projects.
  • Deep technical expertise in SAP authorization concepts across ABAP and HANA platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of User Administration, Role & Profile Management, Authorization Objects, Program and Table Authorization Groups.
  • Experience with Audit requirements and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori and NWBC authorization frameworks.
  • Experience with SAP BTP security and access design, including: Role Collections, Cloud Identity Services (CIS) Groups, Cloud Foundry Organizations and Spaces, Privileged and Service Account Management.
  • Strong critical thinking, technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical security solutions.
  • Fluent verbal and written English.

 

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

 

  • SAP GRC Access Control experience, including implementation or support of: Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Emergency Access Management (EAM), Business Role Management (BRM) and Access Request Management (ARM).
  • Experience with custom security solutions related to Emergency Access Management, compliance reporting, and control monitoring.
  • Experience supporting enterprise access governance and security compliance initiatives.
  • Knowledge of access reviews, self-audits, and security enhancement programs.
