Our offices are located in Brazil, USA, Europe and Asia.
What role you will play in our team
As a Data Engineer, you'll build and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration solutions that provide reliable, high-quality data across the organization. Your work will help power analytics, reporting, operational processes, and data-driven decision-making.
You'll collaborate with Senior Data Engineers, Architects, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to turn business needs into effective technical solutions while contributing to the growth of our modern data platform. Along the way, you'll help ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and adherence to engineering best practices.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain data ingestion and integration pipelines.
- Develop and optimize data transformation processes.
- Build and support data solutions using cloud and enterprise data platforms.
- Implement data models, mappings, and integration workflows.
- Collaborate with architects and business teams to understand data requirements.
- Develop and maintain data assets that support reporting, analytics, and data products.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of data-related issues.
- Document data flows, transformations, and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and implementation reviews.
- Follow established development, security, and governance standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and process optimization.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinements, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Collaborate with team members to support successful project delivery.
About you
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong SQL knowledge and data manipulation skills.
- Experience developing ETL/ELT processes and data integrations.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Understanding data modeling concepts and best practices.
- Experience working with source control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of data quality and validation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Nice to have Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or other data engineering programming languages.
- Experience building cloud-based data solutions.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Experience supporting analytics and reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance and security principles.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Experience within Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management, Manufacturing, or Energy domains.
