Job Role Description

The Financials IT Specialist - Advanced is responsible for delivering system enhancements and resolving moderately complex issues independently. This role contributes to medium-scale projects, ensures solution quality through testing and traceability, and considers non-functional requirements such as performance and security. It engages with business stakeholders to recommend improvements, supports the development of junior team members, and helps maintain system integrity across business processes
Financials IT includes business capabilities such as Account Management, Tax Management, Treasury Management, Planning & Analysis, and Governance, Risk & Compliance

Job Role Responsibilities

- Independently investigates and resolves moderately complex system issues
- Delivers system enhancements and contributes to medium-scale projects, ensuring data integrity and dependency management
- Ensures traceability of changes and considers non-functional requirements (e.g. performance, security) when configuring solutions
- Executes end-to-end testing for assigned processes and develops test scripts for known scenarios
- Participates in solution evaluation and recommends improvements aligned with business needs
- Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of business processes and related system functionality, data structures, and IT components. Develops basic understanding of adjacent capabilities, and stays current on industry trends
- Builds and maintains relationships with business, IT stakeholders, and key vendors to influence solutions
- Collaborates with IT teams and service providers to maintain system integrity and integration
- Supports the development of junior team members through knowledge sharing and mentoring
