What you will do

 

The Employee Development & Staffing Advisor - Associate collaborates to support broader Employee Development & Staffing with design, execution, and enablement of ExxonMobil Employee Development & Staffing  activities

  • Gain a solid understanding of development and staffing philosophy, employee development framework, skill / experience needs, and related systems and processes (e.g. PDS, skills, individual development plans, training)
  • Understand the global staffing deployment model, succession planning and cross-functional / capability deployment priorities, skills / experience needs, and align individual plans with supervisors and managers for relevant populations
  • Understand business needs and available resources to match candidate pools and optimizes development needs; seeks advice as necessary
  • Utilize HR systems, technologies, and tools to provide data-driven, actionable insights e.g. pipeline analysis and capability focus areas
  • Actively participate with ED&S network to develop deeper understanding of staffing processes and best practices
  • Develop an understanding of EM controls and confidentiality expectations

 

About you

 

  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • University degree with a focus on HR/Business/Management, or relevant experience in Human Resources (recently graduated).
  • Strong analytical skills. Clearly articulate problem statement, distill relevant data-driven insights through disciplined root cause diagnosis, to identify issues and opportunities, and develop sound recommendations.
  • Think critically while evaluating problems and formulating solutions; use sound judgment for choosing a course of action
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors), Knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel advanced) preferred.
  • High attention to detail and compliance with data privacy standards. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with data-driven decision-making
