What role you will play in the team

We are seeking a transfer pricing professional with hands‑on experience in multinational transfer pricing compliance or engagement with business/services lines to drive value outcomes and support the timely and proper recognition of financial events to support a defined group of countries or region within a centralized Transfer Pricing Center of Excellence (TP COE). You will be part of a global team responsible for executing transfer pricing compliance activities that support business operations across multiple jurisdictions and ensure adherence to global transfer pricing policies.

 

In this role, you will focus on the preparation, coordination, and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and benchmarking analyses for your region, working closely with Transfer Pricing SMEs, regional tax teams, finance, and external advisors as needed. You will help translate business and financial data into clear, compliant transfer pricing analyses and documentation, while meeting strict filing deadlines and quality standards.

 

Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, solid analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple country deliverables in parallel, adaptability and effective communication across cultures and functions. You will gain exposure to global business models, intercompany transactions, and regulatory requirements, while developing your technical expertise and professional judgment within a structured COE environment.

 


What you will do

 

• Support the transition of transfer pricing compliance activities from affiliates to the Bangalore TP CoE in accordance with global operating models.

• Prepare annual transfer pricing documentation (e.g., Local Files and related disclosures) for a defined set of countries, including business descriptions, functional analyses, financial analyses, and review of intercompany agreements.
• Perform benchmarking searches and quantitative analyses using external databases and comparable company data, under the guidance of Transfer Pricing SMEs.
• Support the annual monitoring of intercompany pricing results and assist in identifying potential transfer pricing adjustments for review and decision by regional or global transfer pricing teams, in line with global policies.
• Coordinate with regional finance and tax stakeholders to collect financial data, understand business changes, and validate intercompany transaction flows.
• Track country‑specific compliance requirements, timelines, and documentation standards to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Assist in responding to information requests from tax authorities, internal audit, or assurance teams by preparing supporting analyses and documentation.
• Work with SMEs to implement standardized templates, processes, and controls across regions to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Maintain organized workpapers, documentation repositories, and trackers to support audit readiness and knowledge transfer.

Through this role, you will build a strong foundation in global transfer pricing compliance, develop regional ownership for the coordination and execution of transfer pricing compliance activities for assigned regions, and progressively take on more complex countries, analyses, and coordination responsibilities. Strong performance may lead to expanded scope, review responsibilities, and growth into senior analyst or specialist roles within the COE.

 


About you

 

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field

• Advanced English - high level of interfacing with internal/external customers
• Two to four Years of experience preparing Financial Accounting and Reporting, Cost Accounting or Intercompany analysis or experience in transfer pricing compliance (including OECD guidelines), documentation,  economic analysis, benchmarking analyses processes within a multinational organization

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and segmented P&L data
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines across jurisdictions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience working with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage

• Process orientation and understanding of work activities
• Willingness and ability to learn new tools, templates, and technologies used in transfer pricing compliance and reporting

• Willingness and ability to make process improvements and automation is an advantage

• Familiarity with US GAAP or IFRS is a plus
• TP Jurisdictions outside India is a plus

• Exposure to broader international tax topics (e.g., withholding tax, permanent establishment) is an advantage but not required
