What role you will play in our team
Responsible to set the regional sourcing strategy, coordination of key projects and initiatives, and support Sales/Product Management requests to ensure strong customer care and optimized cost to serve
- Accountable for execution of strategic projects to capture market value, optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement across procurement, sourcing, logistics, and operations.
- Support and drive cross-functional teams to deliver measurable results and supports organizational supply chain transformation goals
What will you do
Coordinate, communicate, align
- Lead cross-functional project teams to implement new processes, technologies, and policies
- Ensure all team's projects are implemented in a timely and effective manner with cross-functional alignment
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure alignment and integration of initiatives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Other Supply Chain teams, Manufacturing, and raw material sourcing to assess and execute change initiatives to capture market value
- Establish and manage Product Offer Management project timelines and expectations; optimize sourcing for new and existing products, packages, and customers
- Acountable for the assessment, planning, coordination, managenent, and optimization of projects initiated by, or with impact to, Supply Chain including from raw material sourcing to last mile deliveries
- Lead and coordinate supply chain activities for cross-functional projects to drive product/customer changes, enhance supply chain capabilities/efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels ensuring alignment with supply chain/business objectives and compliance standards
- Support and drive supply chain improvement projects and initiatives across procurement, inventory management,logistics, and distribution
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring team members and sharing best practices
Execute Strategic Change Initiatives
- Identify, develop, and execute supply chain improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and performance
- Analyze current supply chain processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions using best practices (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
- Analyze supply chain capability and gaps, coordinate aligned changes to support overall business and supply chain objectives
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of improvement initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress and results to senior management
- Coordinate regional and Global projects/initiatives related to the Supply Chain
- Primary Supply Chain & Operations representative at Product Management meetings
- Work with the S&OP Manager to set overall network strategy and direction
- Work with the Regional Supply Managers to understand raw material supply and prioritize Initiatives with Marketing Product Management and other stakeholders
- Communicate with Marketing Product Management to advise on scope of newly-formed opportunities to facilitate prioritization
- Communicate with Production Planning Supervisors to understand constraints and issues and to re-prioritize and adjust project timelines accordingly
- Work with Supply Chain capability teams and specialists to understand capabilities and gaps how we are operating and determine opportunities for continuous improvement
- Work closely with Regional Demand Planners and participate in the relevant S&OP to facilitate the execution of the plan
- Work with Supply chain planners to optimize the Regional Network
- Make sure product changes/initiatives from change management system is made in time for Supply Chain related elements, and collaborate flawlessly with other business functions (e.g. Product Management, Technical, Marketing, Sales etc.) during change execution
- Lead the team of Initiative Advisors to continuously improve the operation of the Supply Chain in the Region, and to initiate, manage, and close critical projects
- Lead the team of Initiatives Advisors to identify continuous process improvements and champion their efforts to improve processes to enable speed to market on current/future projects
- Active member of the Product Management Integration Team to identify and prioritize overall business initiatives
- Ensure all activities conform to the expectations set forth in the Brand and Controls Frameworks
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Research (or related fields such as Applied Mathematics/Statistics)
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience in supply chain network or supplier management
- Comfortable in relocating to Bengaluru and working hour (9AM to 6PM OR 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST) shift time
- Experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas and FMCG)
- Understand Supply Chain Fundamentals and Supply & Demand Principles
- Proficient in SAP Systems and MS Excel knowledge is critical
- Supervisory experience
- Project Management experience
- Supplier Management experience
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
- Function effectively in a team environment, including virtual environments is critical
- Strong judgment, including ability to make quality decisions
- Strong persuasion / communication skills / influence without direct authority
- Experience in supply planning roles in Chemical, FMCG, CPG, Manufacturing, E -Commerce preferred
- Experienced in petrochemical production/manufacturing process preferred
- 3+ years relevant supervisory experience in supply chain network
- Experience in project management and complex coordination
- Experience in conducting analyses and providing data driven recommendations for S&OP processes
- Experience in network, product flow optimization, deployment/replenishment planning for large scale supply chain (particularly Oil & Gas/FMCG/CPG)
- Experienced in conducting analyses and providing recommendations for supply planning problems using

- SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis
- Tableau and/or Power Bl for visualization
- Power Query, Excel
- Knowledge of R and/or Python for scripting is preferred
- Strong performer with ability to prioritize work strategically and independently while also functioning well within a global, virtual team
- Proven self-starter with strong collaboration and influence management skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experienced in project management and complex coordination
- Experienced in with petrochemical manufacturing background
