Job Summary

 

Manages a portfolio of agreements and new requests to enable efficient, value-driven procurement from purchase to pay—focusing on business outcomes, timely delivery, and optimized cycle times, aligned with strategic and procurement-led decision frameworks

 

Roles and Responsibility

 

  • Support the business in procuring 3rd party Transportation & Logistics related materials and services.
  • Negotiates contract pricing and terms & conditions directly with suppliers while working with internal stakeholders, seeking lowest total system costs and appropriate mitigation of supply and legal risk
  • Executes Purchase-to-Pay processes in full compliance with Sourcing & Acquisition Handbook and Controls processes
  • Fully leverages Procurement processes and tools to ensure most effective procurement method is utilized
  • Maintains agreement portfolio: scope updates, pricing, Exhibits, amendments
  • Ensures contract compliance and utilization- monitors supplier performance, Trouble shoots issues,
  • Ensures transactional efficiency of agreements by leveraging ERP systems
  • Identifies business value and other opportunities within the portfolio
  • Develop Procurement plans/procurement tactics/ negotiation tactics
  • Execute procurement strategies developed by Category Manager and interact with Regional Procurement groups as needed.
  • Develops and maintains internal and external relationships to meet business line expectations
  • Provides fit-for-risk process improvements
  • Influences development and implements Category strategic and commercial guidance; shares portfolio specific market intelligence to Category Networks

 

Skills / Job Pre-Requisites

 

  • Business Fluency in English is a must. Working fluency in a second Asian language preferred.
  • Knowledge of Fuels/Lubes/Chemicals Value Chain
  • Previous experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably 3-5 years of working experience
  • Procurement / commercial functional expertise, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of client business and objectives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word/excel/powerpoint
  • Effective communication skills
  • Analytical skills / TSC
  • Effective negotiation, advocacy and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay process including ERP systems
  • Project planning / execution skills
  • Good time management
  • Strong ethics, controls and operations integrity awareness
  • Able to work across geographies/time zones
