What role you will play in our team

We are seeking a Data Management Engineer to support, administer, and enhance enterprise data management platforms and solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in data governance, metadata management, master data management (MDM), cloud technologies, and enterprise applications. This role involves supporting platforms such as ER/Studio, EnterWorks, Collibra Data Catalog, Collibra Data Quality, and SAP MDG, while partnering with global teams across multiple regions and time zones.

The successful candidate will be responsible for system administration, platform upgrades, troubleshooting, monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. They will work closely with business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing data management solutions. A strong foundation in data management principles, cloud infrastructure, scripting, and analytical problem-solving is essential for success in this role.

What you will do

  • Administer, support, and enhance enterprise data management platforms including ER/Studio, EnterWorks, Collibra, and SAP MDG.
  • Coordinate and execute platform upgrades, installations, patches, and system maintenance activities.
  • Monitor application health and performance using tools such as DataDog and proactively address issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and user-related issues in collaboration with vendors and support teams.
  • Apply data management, governance, metadata, and master data management best practices to business solutions.
  • Develop automation and process improvements using scripting and tools such as Python and GitHub Actions.
  • Create and maintain technical, support, and security documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and user training as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with global teams while leveraging Agile methodologies to deliver business value.

About you

  • 3–7 years of experience in Data Management, Application Support, Platform Administration, or related roles.
  • Experience with ER/Studio, EnterWorks, Collibra Data Catalog, Collibra Data Quality, SAP MDG, or similar data management solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Windows Server, APIs, cloud platforms (Azure and AWS), infrastructure, GitHub, and DataDog.
  • Understanding of data governance, metadata management, data quality, and master data management concepts.
  • Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Python, PowerShell, and GitHub Actions is preferred.
  • Nice to have: SAP, Snowflake, Power BI, ServiceNow, Data & Process Modeling.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across global teams and stakeholders.
