What Role Will You Play in Our Team

Develop and share rich insights based on detailed analysis of competitor strategies, industry changes, and recognize market drivers to support swift and informed decisions required to maintain first mover advantage in rapidly evolving industries.

 

What you will do

 

  • Monitor and synthesize market intelligence related to activities conducted by competitors & customers through publicly available information
  • Leverage internal (cross-functional) and external networks and third-party data sources to generate timely analyses / insights
  • Summarize competitor insights and implications, and facilitate its prompt communication to relevant business stakeholders
  • Serve as key interface between Intelligence and business line analyst.

 

Actions & Deliverables

  • Collect, analyze & develop insights on research, data, reports, and news articles.
  • Lead development, collection, analysis, and distribution of data from key intelligence tools and publicly available platforms
  • Develop and/or maintain project and asset databases – track critical progress and updates
  • Produce and/or support regular updates on competitor activity (e.g. newsletter, competitor trends dashboard), including acquisitions, investments, project announcements, property purchases, social media activity, etc.
  • Support development and maintenance of key competitor profiles.

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology, preferably in Automobile, electronic/telecommunication, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil. Electrical, Production, industrial, plastic, petrochemical, electronics, energy, metallurgy, Paint/oil or a related field with a score 70% and above (equivalent CGPA) advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in secondary research is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of prior experience in competitive intelligence analysis / market research.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in working with a leading management consulting firm.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop deep, actionable business analyses/insights
  • Visualization tool experience (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) and eagerness to learn/improve
  • Knowledge of market, business, and finance drivers is an advantage
  • Strong organizational, coordination, planning, teamwork and interface management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
