What role will you play in our team
The Product Lifecycle Management Expert serves as the key operational interface between business, commercial, and asset teams, ensuring seamless coordination across the product lifecycle. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, managing change, supporting quality and regulatory compliance, and enabling volume and margin improvements through cross-functional collaboration. What you will do
- Operational & Business Interface
- Serve as the primary liaison with S&OP, SES, and Asset Teams to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
- Translate commercial and asset signals into actionable plans, ensuring asset run plans align with market demand.
- Represent Product Management in Regional Asset Teams and Quick Response Teams.
- Develop and streamline customer communications related to operational activities.
- Business Team Support
- Provide planning and follow-up support for Business Teams (BT).
- Support regionally sensitive pricing activities and collaborate with Revenue Management and Sales for pricing insights.
- Coordinate with Product Stewardship and Regulatory teams for SDS updates and compliance-related changes.
- Quality & Cost Stewardship
- Lead regional quality teams and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate cost-of-quality reduction efforts and manage Customer Feedback (CFB) health and gap closure.
- Product Lifecycle Ownership
- Lead the annual grade rationalization process, including review, recommendations, and execution with Sales and Manufacturing.
- Coordinate product development activities, including execution of new grades and parameter definition.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Management of Change (MOC) processes, from initiation to closure.
- Own and maintain BOMs, material master data, and product specifications.
- Support raw material management activities, including cost analysis, security of supply, and trial coordination.
About You
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master of Engineering degree and score 70% and above (equivalent CGPA)
- Preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Production, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain roles.
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong background in regulatory compliance, quality systems, and change management.
- Proficiency in SAP, PLM tools, and data analysis platforms is highly desirable.
