In our Marine Lubricants business, you will work directly with customers across the shipping industry. We combine high-performance products with technical expertise to help our customers improve efficiency, reliability, and cost performance in demanding marine environments.
Based in Allerod, you will join one of ExxonMobil’s key hubs for Marine Lubricants — offering the best of both worlds: a global company with a strong local, collaborative, informal and a flexible working environment.
About the role
You will play a key role in driving growth across the Nordic region. With clear ownership of your customer portfolio, you will work closely with vessel owners, operators, and partners to solve real operational challenges and deliver measurable value.
This is a customer-facing role where you plan your own workday, build long-term relationships, and see the direct impact of your efforts in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth across your assigned territory and customer portfolio
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Strengthen and expand relationships with existing customers
- Translate technical knowledge into clear commercial value
- Work closely with engineers and internal teams to deliver strong customer solutions and value-based selling
- Monitor market trends and represent ExxonMobil in customer meetings and industry events

Background and experience
Experience from the maritime, offshore, or a technical/industrial B2B environment is an advantage — but mindset and potential are equally important
You likely bring
- Experience from sales, consulting, maritime, offshore, industrial or another customer-facing role
- Ability to connect technical understanding with commercial outcomes
- Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment
- Analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Fluent English (Corporate Language) and at least one Scandinavian language
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (~20–25 days/year)
