What role you will play in our team

 

The Site Analyzer Specialist skill requirements include a broad knowledge of field analyzer applications, including chromatographic, spectroscopic, electrochemical, and physical property analyzers and sensors, for process control, safety and environmental. 

What you will do

 

  • Support Site Safety Programs (Incident Investigations, Near Loss reporting)
  • Develop and maintains Reliability KPIs for Analyzers (Obsolescence Status, Service Factor, SQC Charting, Training plans, Bad Actors, etc)
  • Lead the identification of margin and maintenance cost improvement initiatives to 
  • Problem solving/troubleshooting of analyzers and associated equipment.
  • Conduct site assessment of analyzer infrastructure and analyzer engineering/ maintenance work processes.
  • Provide technology recommendations for analyzer applications.
  • Contribute to key network activities associated with maintenance, obsolescence, KPI's and Best Practices
  • Provide guidance and training on use of SQC tools for developing cases for analyzer product quality release.
  • Work closely with the Environmental Group to ensure emission monitors comply with GHG and PG7 provincial and federal regulations.
  • Support capital projects by reviewing analyzer system designs.
  • Collaborate with project design teams and site personnel to determine fit for use of analyzer technologies.
  • Conduct Factory, Systems Integration and Site Acceptance Tests (when necessary).
  • Utilize statistical tools to assess analyzer performance.
  • Review and develop analyzer package bids and provides recommendations. 
     

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Engineering degree or college or equivalent is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications / Experience

 

  • Should have minimum of 10 years' experience as Analyzer 
  • Should have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Able to Interpret and incorporate industry information and advances
  • Able to Leverage own capabilities by contributing through others
  • Able to mentor less experienced workers

Eligibility to work in Canada
