A Cold Lake Maintenance Supervisor position is available at Imperial's Cold Lake, Alberta location.  Cold Lake and Bonnyville are in the heart of Alberta's Lakeland district with excellent lakes and recreational facilities.  These areas offer all major amenities without crowds and traffic, world class recreational facilities and numerous types of outdoor activities.  This is NOT a fly in/out opportunity and camp is not provided.  Relocation to the Cold Lake/Bonnyville area is required.

 

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for onsite maintenance supervision at one of our facilities ensuring all maintenance activities are executed within Production Best Practices of Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule.  Understanding and abiding to our safety, health and environment (SHE) requirement, you will monitor maintenance execution efficiencies and provide positive and corrective feedback to the applicable IOR or contractor supervisors.

 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Work is scoped out prior to execution and all interfaces are managed and aligned
  • Resources, tools and equipment are scheduled and managed to meet LACD
  • Coordination of support services and Third Parties
  • Technical items are identified and considered in the task plan
  • Communication of work plan to all interfaces
  • Ensure operations readiness (LOTO, Equip Turnover) is timely and within our best practices
Qualifications

 

Academic

  • Degree within an applicable discipline, appropriate certification(s) within discipline or equivalent professional experience
  • 5 years of related professional experience

Other

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and a safe driving record are required for this position
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads and frequent changes in priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
  • Proficient in selected scheduling and planning software, reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs
  • Ability to understand field changes and red-line drawings
  • Demonstrates good leadership skills in team meetings to remove barriers and steward action items and cost profile to work plan and cost estimates
  • Ability to coordinate various mechanical resources according to schedule and plan
