Job Summary

The Planner/Schedulers drive the SAP Preventative Maintenance (PM) process by creating/revising/storing maintenance plans and work order schedules in SAP PM for pipeline facilities. Planner/Schedulers also utilize SAP PM data to work with Supervisors to create work schedules for local personnel, maintain adequate equipment records, and update as necessary to ensure proper inspection and maintenance of equipment.

Primary Job Functions
  • Assist other Planner/Schedulers as necessary to adhere to the SAP PM standard schedule
  • Maintain compliance with the SAP PM Cyber Attack Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
  • Ensure new equipment is entered into SAP PM and an appropriate maintenance schedule is established; timely remove junked equipment and complete required documentation
  • Run various SAP PM Maintenance reports, prepare and provide for management review; document and steward follow-up action items
  • Verify Critical Safety Equipment (CSE) in SAP PM in conjunction with the Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) coordinator’s annual review
  • Attend and participate in Scheduled Planner/Scheduler Network Meetings
  • Run monthly PM Compliance reports for outstanding Regulatory and Non-Regulatory Work Orders; provide data to Supervisor
  • Review schedule with Supervisor weekly prior to issuing it to employees and contractors
  • Maintain and retain PM schedules for access by all Planner/Schedulers
  • Comply with record keeping and record retention guidelines
Job Requirements
  • The ability to work independently producing high volume/high quality work
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely and encourage others to do the same
  • Strong Communication Skills – Able to communicate in both verbal and written form with all levels of the organization
  • Understanding of pipeline alignment drawings, station flow diagrams and trunk line charts
  • Strong Computer Skills - Able to operate laptop computer remotely, create/manipulate documents in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and work with graphical applications as needed 
  • Effective time management skills
  • Strong audit and controls orientation
  • Willing and able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Willing to able to travel and work away from home occasionally
