What role you will play in our team

  •  Your role in our Team is significantly based upon safety. Team members are expected to follow specific protocols and procedures related to work scope, 100% of the time. As a member of our Team, we ask that you intervene when you see unsafe conditions, communicate effectively with teammates, and perform your specific work duties in a flawless and efficient manner.
  • The reporting location of this specific job is Webster, Texas. Remote offshore platform work is the primary scope of this specific position

What you will do

 

You will be responsible for coordinating and performing electrical, mechanical, and communications repair and maintenance as needed. You will be required to work a rotating 14 on, 14 off, 12 hour shift, with overtime call out after hours. After hours on call emergency responsibilities, including emergency and regular on calls and operational issues. You may be required to provide relief to other Operations/Maintenance technicians with station operator responsibilities in the work area.

 

  • Lead/Assist in the construction, maintenance, operations, and repairs of associated facilities and equipment. 
  • Move/Remove product or water using a variety of methods. 
  • Perform meter proving, and calibrations.Read and understand station flow and pipeline alignment drawings.
  • Read and understand station flow and pipeline alignment drawings.
  • Set up equipment and pipeline for inspection, and testing.
  • Perform to highest safety standards, including reporting all incidents and discrepancies.
  • Knowledge and background in PLC’s, flow computers, communication systems, and HMI’s.
  • Experience in programing PLC’s. 
  • Understand how to calibrate and install various equipment such as temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow meters, tank level gauges, and control valves.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 24volts to 2300volts.
  • Knowledge of valves and MOV actuators – installing, repairing, setting limits.
  • Motor and motor control’s knowledge.
  • Mechanical knowledge of working on pumps, meters, provers, and piping
  • Ability to wire complex control circuits from schematic wiring diagrams
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electronic theory and PLC principles
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of DOT, ISO, EHSMS, NEC, and OSHA regulations
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and EHSMS record
  • Maintain inventory of all electrical operating equipment and spares
  • Troubleshoot low, medium and high voltage power circuits
  • Perform maintenance with minimal down time to the operation

About You

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Must be able to pass THUET (Tropical Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)
  • Ability to plan daily work activities in accordance with established Company and Regulatory procedures
  • Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) effectively
  • Ability to operate hand tools or other pipeline equipment to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Able to use Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent safe work ethic
  • Knowledge of emergency response procedures and DOT motor carrier regulations
  • Must be willing and able to attend/complete required training courses
  • Must be willing and able to work in small team environments
  • Must be willing and able to work in various locations, both indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures
  • Must have safe driving skills
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
