What role you will play in our team

 

The candidate will assist Public & Government Affairs Director in providing integrated public affairs services to business functions in Hong Kong with focus on providing operational support to business lines, developing and implementing public/government affairs initiatives in line with business objectives, managing media and integrated communications, community programs as well as emergency response for all ExxonMobil operating units in Hong Kong. 

What you will do

 

•    Regularly monitor and conduct research on matters related to business projects and issues, including media coverage, relevant government policies and regulatory matters 
•    Support in current and government affairs and media analysis; feedback to business clients with advice on responses / actions
•    Organize stakeholder engagement activities; build and maintain relevant networks of key stakeholders
•    Serve as primary contact with media; handle media enquiries; draft media materials and organize media training for business clients
•    Manage integrated communications programs in Hong Kong; assist in the development of business strategy materials (e.g. talking points, briefing documents) and high-visibility communications materials, including social and digital content, publications, speeches, and presentations
•    Coordinate and implement employee communications programs
•    Provide emergency response support for all operating units in Hong Kong
•    Plan and implement sponsorship, contributions and employee volunteer programs in Hong Kong
 

About you

 

•    More than 10 years relevant experience in areas such as communications, public affairs, government relations, community relations or other related areas
•    Bachelor’s Degree in communications, public/government affairs, journalism, translation or related disciplines
