Card Operations Analyst (Card Base) / (French Speaker)

Job Role Responsibilities


  • Provide a service to individuals or groups of retailers for card transactions accepted by branded Esso service stations which have been processed/captured by a centralized on-line European system 
  • Monitors rejected transactions for several European countries to ensure payments made to retailers or groups remain timely 
  • Adheres to different retailer and card issuer contractual controls by responding to issuers in set time periods to avoid financial liability
  • Use various data sources to monitor and investigate a diverse set of controls, including fraudulent card activity
  • Working hour: 10AM - 7PM or 11AM-8PM


Required Skills and Knowledge


  • Fluency in French
  • Fluency in English: TOEIC 800+, TOEFL iBT 98+, or IELTS 6.5+
  • Strong communication skills; written/verbal & presentation skills
  • Analytical skills - problem solving; analyzing problems & achieving resolutions
  • Ability to manage complaints/difficult situations to a satisfactory resolution
  • Assertive
  • Good team player & interpersonal effectiveness
  • Self-motivated, organized and can work on own initiative
  • Computer literacy (including SharePoint, MS Access & Excel)
