What you will do

 

•    AU SUPPORT
-    Field Support  on four Plants
    Operations team safety walkabouts
    Project execution, e.g. process safety & personal safety high risk activities critical  verification and measurement items check (Off-line verification), safety walkabouts etc
-    Health check Status and effectiveness of SSHE systems and processes 
    OIMS etc safety management system implementation 
    Pure LPS (Behaviour Based System)
    High risk area management
-    Verification and validation of assessment findings (OIMS & LPS)
-    Coaching, Training & Mentoring 
    Coaching and mentoring EM personnel and contractors in field safety walkabouts, hazard identification and intervention
    Deliver instructor led training based on needs and relevance to Training system  assigned modules 
-    Facilitate / support interface between Industry Hygiene and site for IH Plan, EAS and other IH related activities (Support OIMS Sys 5.2 team, Occupational Health) 
-    Follow up and support implementation of Corporate/Global Initiatives(Reflect to OIMS sys work plan)

•    OIMS Administration and Stewardship
-    Coordinate and support functioning of NAP Zone OIMS Governance and OIMC
-    Steward Incident Rates to develop NAP Zone SSHE improvement plans supplemented with other basis from assessment findings, OIMS systems V&M and observations during AU visits
-    Support AU to implement OIMS based initiatives as endorsed by Global Leadership Team
-    As assigned by NAP SSHE manager
-    GLO or as requested, NAP Zone System Sponsor or Specialist to lead / facilitate NAP Zone System Teams in progressing Global work plan implementation and system health check through V&M, Plants visits
-    Perform role of SME or SPOC for Environmental, Security and other Global initiatives
-    Support OIMS 6.5 team  (Environmental Protection) to provide guidance on Environmental Work Plan and Environmental Performance Indicators

-    Basic Training
    Safety Management System
    Behaviour Based Safety
    Risk Assessment Tool
    Regulation on SSHE
    Introduction to Industrial Hygiene  
-    Experience on Coaching and others
    work permits, risk tolerance, hazard awareness, actively caring, etc
    SSHE survey and analysis - forklift safety, boiler safety, Process Safety, PPE

•       SCOPE (Impacts, success measures/metrics, position in Value Chain)
    Provide advice and support for key organizational programs related to Operations Integrity and Security, Safety, Health and Environmental 
    Primary focus of the advice and support is on the Manufacturing function with secondary support in the form on consultation will be provided to Offices, Labs and other L&S functions
    Relationship between GLO/Region SSHE Advisor and NAPLO AU SSHE Contact is dotted line (inform/consult/advise)
    Region SSHE Advisor does not steward SSHE performance of AP AU, but expected to provide feedback to Site SSHE Contact and Site Mgr if issues were identified during visits
 

About you

 

•    Supervisory experience (Preferred)
•    Good Knowledge of Safety Standard Management System, including Process Safety and Personal Safety
•    Strong leadership,  interpersonal and communication skills, coordination capability for several Plants/Units
    Ability to influence without authority 
    Able to communicate & work well with all levels of the organization
    Able to provide advice and guidance independently 
    Able to work with minimum supervision- Self Driven
•    Good meeting facilitating and coordination skills
•    University degree, preferably in chemical engineering or equivalent
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in petroleum or chemical industry with practical experience in plant operation
•    Fluent in spoken and written English
•    Good knowledge regulatory requirement/GB on safety
