About Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team
We are seeking a candidate who will sit within the Supply Chain business unit and be responsible for driving the strategic direction of supply chain capability development. This role will lead the development of approaches to meet current and future needs for supply chain expertise. This will require close alignment within Supply Chain and with various HR and training functions, including, but not limited to:

What you will do
Strategic Vision and Leadership:
- Define near and longer-term capability vision for supply chain, encompassing expected changes due to ongoing studies on Human Capital Management and employee development processes and tools.
- Integrate initiatives across the corporation to build a roadmap for Supply Chain capabilities into the future.
- Establish current baseline and provide thought leadership to define future state and path to achieve.
- Guide a global team of advisors and capability owners to execute the EM Capability Management vision (people, processes, information, tools).
Future Vision and Innovation:
- Identify future vision for supply chain tools and process needs, including impact of new data systems, new technologies, and implementation of a capability-based hub model.
- Work with HR to integrate future capabilities into talent strategy and footprint models.
- Coordinate with partner organizations’ Capability models to ensure consistency and minimize overlap.
- Work with partner organizations, including Business Lines to ensure consistency and avoid redundancy.
Supply Chain Management:
- Understand SCM processes and best practices.
- Coordinate with SCM teams to ensure training programs meet operational requirements.
- Manage logistics and supply chain training initiatives.
Training Strategies:
- Develop comprehensive training strategies that align with SCM goals.
- Utilize various training methods (e.g., e-learning, on-the-job training) to maximize learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with SCM leaders to identify training needs and priorities.
- Analyze training needs and developing solutions to address gaps.
- Use data-driven approaches to measure training effectiveness.
- Identify and resolve issues related to training and development.
Training Platforms and Knowledge Management:
- Align training platforms, content, and knowledge management tools to deliver desired outcomes.
- Drive toward vision for fundamental supply chain concept learning platforms.
Training and Development:
- Design and implement training programs tailored to SCM needs.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars to enhance employee skills.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make improvements.
About You
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced supply chain specialist with a strong HR talent background to join our team, who possess the following qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Operations management or equivalent field

Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in SCM and HR function combined working for a large organization

Proficiency in HR software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle HRMS) for managing employee data and training records

Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for delivering training content.

Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders

Implement and maintain HR systems to support SCM operations.

Analyze HR data to inform decision-making and improve training programs.
