ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a large product portfolio covering broad supply chain planning and / or execution capabilities across value chains and geographies. You will supervise several Product Managers and engage with business and technical stakeholders as well as senior Supply Chain leadership (Vice President and President level) on product roadmap definition and execution. 

 

 

 

What you will do

  • Drive product portfolio vision, strategy and set directions for your product area.
  • Proactively assess technological trends and identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation in digital products
  • Create buy-in for the vision and convey the interests of all stakeholders, sponsors, and potential customers to the Product Manager.
  • Provide continuous guidance and coaching to Product Managers
  • Ensure that new incoming work for the portfolio is aligned with the overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Support the Product Managers to decompose the Opportunities into Product Features.
  • Work with Product teams to estimate the work effort and provides input for portfolio prioritization.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, technical discipline leaders across data, analytics, engineering and science, capability leaders and key 3rd party partners to navigate through priorities and capacity constraints.
  • Provide input to architectural decisions.
  • Hold business and technical stakeholders accountable to agreed delivery and deployment plans.
  • Represent the interest of global/enterprise stakeholders and customers and maintain alignment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may negatively impact the team’s ability to deliver.
  • Communicate plans and status to stakeholders at various level including senior leaders across the organization.

 

About you

Minimum Skills & Qualifications

  • 15 plus years of experience in digital, production development or management OR experience with a strong background in development and configuration
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering combined with a Master of Business
  • Strong business acumen
  • Previous experience with full life cycle of product management from vision to execution
  • Bring a global perspective on strategic direction and creation of the vision with the business.

 

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience supply chain digital product management.
  • Experience collaborating with data science and optimization-oriented engineering teams.
  • Familiarity of emerging technologies such as AI and emerging trends in advanced analytics
