About Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What you will do
The Senior Full Stack Developer will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, domain experts, and cross‑functional development teams to architect, build, deploy, and support cloud‑ready and cloud‑native applications that enable ExxonMobil’s Upstream business lines. This role requires deep technical expertise across modern web development, backend services, cloud platforms, and data integration, along with strong communication skills and the ability to deliver high‑quality, scalable software solutions in a highly collaborative environment.
What role you will play in your team
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, deploy, and support modern web applications designed for cloud‑ready and cloud‑native environments.
- Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and Upstream domain specialists to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Apply industry-standard software engineering best practices, including OOAD, SOLID principles, modular architecture, and automated testing for maintainable, high‑quality code. Understanding of winform and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
- Develop backend services and APIs using C# and Python, with strong proficiency in debugging, optimization, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Build and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions to ensure consistent, secure, and efficient software delivery.
- Design and develop ETL pipelines in Databricks, integrating structured and unstructured data into application workflows and analytics solutions.
- Build responsive and dynamic front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular and React.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API (preferred), Node.js, or Flask, with a strong understanding of HTTP standards and REST constraints.
- Develop data models and data access layers for data platforms such as Delta Lake and Azure Data Explorer to support both operational and analytical use cases.

- B.S. or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications on Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and scalable application design.
- Ability to collaborate with Upstream research teams to commercialize research prototypes into production solutions that drive measurable business value.
