Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Natural Gas Scheduler to join our team. 

What role you will play

In your role as a Natural Gas Scheduler you will:


• Estimate daily production sales volumes and track multiple production, transportation and well-head imbalances


• Perform gas scheduling functions related to accurate and timely plant / pipeline nominations


• Utilize multiple Electronic Bulletin Board systems to submit daily nominations as well as monitor pipeline notices for maintenance and other operational postings


• Monitor and resolve volumetric discrepancies / pipeline cuts


• Develop and maintain relationships with traders, contract administers, essential field personnel, midstream contacts and downstream pipeline representatives


• Act as a liaison with volume accounting for pipeline statement and invoice reconciliation


• Maintain/Develop scheduling spreadsheets for tracking nominations and imbalances to aid in the optimization of daily gas flows and sales.


• Read, understand, and retain key commercial contract terms for your scheduling area


• Train with other schedulers for backup purposes when other schedulers are out

What we are looking for

 

Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results through a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural global team. Skill requirements are as follows:


• Bachelor’s Degree


• A minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience required, 5+ years of experience is desired


• Knowledge and experience with the Allegro ETRM system a plus


• Strong verbal / written communications skills


• Must be self-motivated and results oriented


• Role requires analytical ability and creativity in problem solving


• Knowledge of relevant industry regulations


• Deep understanding of intrastate, interstate and gathering nomination/sales process


• Role requires 24x7 responsibility of scheduling area. Weekends can be rotated with coverage
