Media and Measurement Advisor - North America

Job Role Summary

The Media and Measurement Advisor, as part of the Marketing Services Organization, has overall responsibility to provide media expertise to the Market Business Unit (MBU), develop and implement a holistic measurement channel across media channels and market sectors, and serve as a subject-matter expert on media trends and emerging areas.  The Media and Measurement Advisor will be located in Spring, TX and will work in a consultative function with the brand teams to help develop and measure performance of marketing plans. The Media and Measurement Advisor works under the direction of the Marketing Services Manager.

Job Role Responsibilities
  • Provide media expertise to the organization by working with internal functions and external parties
  • Consult on the development and execution of strategic media plans to align with GBU strategy
  • Provide guidance on the media investment budget, platform and mix to support business objectives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of media plans through  all available reporting and analysis
  • Develop and implement holistic measurement strategy across media channels and market sectors to allow for in-flight optimization and continuous improvement
  • Serve as SME on emerging media trends
  • Collaborate with Global Media Advisor and other MBU Communications and Media contacts to share and leverage industry and cross-MBU best practices
  • Ensure the effectiveness of media investment through  all available mechanisms, recommend enhancements for continuous improvement
  • Lead MBU reporting for media efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate  with global organization and brand teams to develop a marketing data approach
  • Assist the organization in compliance activities in support of media, advertising and data privacy.
Job Requirements
  • BS in Marketing or equivalent degree/work experience; MS or MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated work experience in media operations, media measurement and analytics, brand and digital marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to think strategically, work collaboratively, and communicate complicated messages concisely.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Media experience on client or agency side
  • Experience in developing systems or processes of marketing measurement or marketing analytics
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
