What role you will play in our team

 

Manage, analyze, and optimize an agreement portfolio consisting of managed service providers (MSPs), focused on information technology outsourcing, business process outsourcing and engineering outsourcing. Contracts Manager should have strong communication skills, negotiation skills and demonstrated project management skills to introduce new commercial strategies and approaches to the market. 

What you will do

 

  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and owns a portfolio of contracts
  • Leads new MSP projects from ‘ideation’ to agreement award / implementation, including seeking external market insights, defining bid evaluation methodology, and leading vendor negotiations 
  • Support Procurement organization in development and implementation of category-specific strategy and commercial guidance 
  • Identify business value and competitive opportunities within the portfolio
  • Own commercial actions (bids, renewals, amendments, etc.)
  • Meet all Controls requirements
  • Be a Market Expert (with support from Category Management)
  • Understand the commodity, supplier landscape, and supplier capabilities
  • Engages with suppliers and build strong internal business line relationships
  • Be knowledgeable of compensation structures and market rates  
  • Develop expertise in local supply/demand – stay abreast market intelligence
  • Explore technologies and innovation from suppliers
  • Understand Agreement Health and Utilization
  • Ensure contract is utilized as intended / minimize contract leakage
  • Identify efficiencies from leakage, overheads, and third party markup rates and utilization
  • Optimize compensation method utilization (for example lump sum versus time & materials)
  • Monitor agreement costs (e.g. insurance, overheads, etc)
  • Understand Business Line Needs
  • Engage with agreement users to understand their view of supplier performance and competitive landscape
  • Be a SPOC for your agreement portfolio; get involved in the agreement user processes
  • Measure applied value – track value generated as agreements are utilized
  • Optimize payment terms

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Preference for BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, or other applicable business degrees
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, project management, and communication skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of contracting experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of O&G sales or procurement experience

  • Demonstrate Commercial Intensity (Bids/Auctions/Negotiations)
  • Lead with informal authority 
  • Analyze & communicate effectively
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency & personal ownership
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Advocate and influence at all levels of the organization (internally and externally)
  • Knowledge of the commodity
