What role you will play in our team
Hands-on leader to build and run high-impact, issues-based, policy-informed digital campaigns that shape perception and drive engagement across our B2B audiences and targeted stakeholders. This role will own end-to-end campaign strategy, development, execution, and measurement—spanning paid, owned LinkedIn, and digital channels—to advance our brand narrative in a complex energy and petrochemical sector environment.
The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years leading issues-based and advocacy-driven digital campaigns in, blending deep marketing and brand expertise with modern advocacy tools and platforms. DC political campaign experience (or equivalent policy/advocacy campaign background) is required.
Position based in Washington D.C. or Houston, Texas
What you will do
- Own the campaign strategy for issues-based initiatives: translate policy developments and stakeholder insights into compelling digital narratives and audience journeys
- Lead end-to-end execution across paid, owned LinkedIn, and digital: content strategy, media planning and buying, creative direction, testing, optimization, and reporting
- Build audience and stakeholder programs targeting high valued decision-makers, policy influencers, trade groups, investors, partners, and other valued stakeholders
- Leverage modern advocacy & martech stacks (e.g., grassroots mobilization/advocacy tools, account-based marketing, marketing automation, CRM, social listening, and brand lift measurement)
- Partner cross-functionally with P&GA Government Affairs, Policy, Legal, Communications, Product/Business Units, Investor Relations, and Brand to ensure message alignment and risk management
- Lead content performance: develop issue-specific content (short-form, thought leadership, video, data visualizations, landing pages), and drive channel-specific optimization
- Manage agencies and vendors across media, creative, research, and advocacy platforms; negotiate scopes, steward budgets, and hold partners to performance standards
- Establish measurement frameworks: set objectives and KPIs, create test-and-learn roadmaps, and report impact to senior leadership with clear insights and recommendations
- Monitor the policy and media environment to quickly pivot narratives, update creative, and deploy rapid-response campaigns when appropriate
- Ensure governance and compliance across claims, disclosures, and platform policies; partner with Legal/Compliance on approvals
