ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team
This position is in support of the Environmental & Property Solutions (E&PS) customer. This customer is actively pursuing a digital strategy that includes next generation smart buildings, wayfinding, space utilization, sociometrics, and many more new technologies on the market, as well as in-house custom-designed applications. The candidate will be responsible for interacting with customers on Houston Campus as well as global managers regarding their applications and how we can improve their experience. This is a crucial role supporting Houston Campus building management systems on E&PS IT and it plays a critical role for the app support team. The role demands extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of IT/OT, and even the sub-domain of SCADA, coupled with deep IT knowledge and including some architectural support, and design expertise. Qualified candidates should have a background in computer engineering, networking, and full-stack development. In addition to customer management, the candidate will also work on a team of experienced analysts & developers, designing and developing applications that will be used not only by E&PS, but global customers throughout the corporation.

What you will do
Key duties of IT/OT engineer and Full-stack Application Developer:
- Perform analysis of business requirements and work alongside team to develop technical solutions, per requirements.
- Create and support multi-device solutions that include a front-end GUI, back-end logic, APIs, workflows, database interactions, etc.
- Create and support automated solutions for manual processes (ex. Automate an approval workflow to take equipment offline for maintenance).
- Troubleshooting and resolving application & integration break/fix issues.
- Build and support cross-system integrations (ADF, SSIS package, API, Scripting).
- Work with ExxonMobil Houston Campus building operations team to support building management systems devices (PLCs, etc.) and can comprehend and support the design and
- implementation from end to end; working with other IT support teams to support and troubleshoot systems
- Adhere to architectural standards & mandates, security & controls and change management procedures.
- Adhere to guidelines and practices from internal Software Security Group.
- Participate in application vulnerability tests and Resolve vulnerability findings.
- Create or update application support documentation, security models, risk assessments, etc.
- Work with ExxonMobil Houston Campus building operations team to support building management systems devices (PLCs, etc.) and can comprehend and support the design and implementation from end to end; working with other IT support teams to support and troubleshoot systems
- Adhere to architectural standards & mandates, security & controls and change management procedures.
- Adhere to guidelines and practices from internal Software Security Group.
- Participate in application vulnerability tests and Resolve vulnerability findings.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Intermediate Front End Skills: Angular 6 / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / AngularJS
- Intermediate/Advanced Back-End Skills: C# / ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC / MS SQL Server (or SQL in general)
- CI/CD experience with Github Repositories and Actions
- Scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, T-SQL)
- Experience implementing front-end web UIs following User Centered Design Principles
- Experience implementing Client/Server Architecture Applications
- MS SQL Server, Azure SQL - Database Design, Reporting, Security, Stored Procedures, SSIS-based Integrations
- Azure Data Factory - Design, build, and support ADF Pipelines
- Microsoft Azure – Management of Azure VM and other resources including creation of new resource groups and network security setup.
- OKTA External User Authentication (setup & troubleshooting)
- API design/build/support including the use of Postman
- Microsoft IIS
- Management/Installation/Deployment of Windows Applications
- Knowledge on Network Topology (VLANs, Virtual Networks, Ports, Switches, ISE Profiling, Hardware) and Security (Firewalls, Protocols, Bacnet, OPC, SNMP, PLC)
- Experience with systems and controllers (JCI Metasys, Iconics, Historians (Building Automation Systems), plus knowledge Building Systems (Power, Lighting, Shading, etc.)
- Experience with hardware such as Moxa switches, RTUs, Controllers, breakers & meters.
- Desired knowledge of NIST 800-82 and IEC 62443 and Purdue model
- ‘B.S. or equivalent work experience’
- Knowledge on Network Topology (VLANs, Virtual Networks, Ports, Switches, ISE Profiling, Hardware) and Security (Firewalls, Protocols, Bacnet, OPC, SNMP, PLC)
- Experience with systems and controllers (JCI Metasys, Iconics, Historians (Building Automation Systems), plus knowledge Building Systems (Power, Lighting, Shading, etc.)
- Experience with hardware such as Moxa switches, RTUs, Controllers, breakers & meters."
- Candidate should have extensive knowledget in IT/OT systems along with a deep IT software development knowledge and experience. The candidate will need to have the ability to support and OT devices in the context of IT application support; so they can bridge the gap between IT and OT solutions
