About Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team
This role is critical to ExxonMobil’s digital communications strategy, serving as the central point of accountability for the corporate website. The successful candidate will drive enterprise-wide standards, lead change management efforts, and ensure the site delivers measurable impact aligned with business and communications goals. This is a high-visibility, on-site role requiring strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and digital expertise.
What you will do
Strategic Leadership & Governance
Develop and implement web strategies that align with business goals and user needs.
Establish and maintain global standards, KPIs, and governance frameworks for web content and performance.
Serve as the business owner of the corporate CMS, ensuring platform scalability and user support.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Lead cross-functional web projects from concept to execution, managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
Oversee agency and vendor relationships, ensuring delivery meets brand and strategic expectations.
Collaborate with global teams including Marketing, IT, Legal, and Communications to maintain strategic alignment.
Content & Experience Optimization
Guide the creation and publication of high-impact web content, including digital-first corporate reports.
Influence site design and layout to improve usability, accessibility, and engagement.
Lead global SEO strategy and leverage analytics to drive continuous improvement.
Enablement & Change Management
Develop training and enablement materials to support adoption of web standards and tools.
Drive change management efforts to embed best practices across global teams.
Provide mentorship and support capability building across internal and external contributors.
Compliance & Crisis Support
Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Support digital response strategies during corporate issues or crises, ensuring timely and accurate web communications.
About you
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in digital or multimedia design, communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, advertising, or graphic arts preferred. Equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience in digital communications, web strategy, or related fields will also be considered.
- Prior relevant communications experience in digital, omni-channel marketing in B2B, B2C or agency environments.
- Strong communication and project management skills with an eye for creative design and compelling writing; strong creative portfolio; ability to manage large, complex/multi-layer, quick-turn projects.
- Basic technical knowledge of content management system (CMS) capabilities, web publishing, and familiarity with social media and CRM tools; Sitecore and Salesforce knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of SEO and analytics reporting tools and implementation strategies.
- Work on tight deadlines and within the real-time, fast-paced environment of digital and social communications.

- Ability to quickly understand, assimilate and communicate complex issues.
- Familiarity and interest in issues related to energy, economics, the environment, sustainability, corporate citizenship and government relations.
- Strong project-management skills with an ability to multi-task and remain flexible when priorities change.
- Writing and editing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
- Enthusiasm for public and government affairs challenges.
- Strategic advisor on holistic user experience / user journey.
- Familiarity with agile project management principles.
