ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team

 

The Advisor, Community Engagement & Giving Campaign will coordinate corporate fundraising campaigns, manage campaign data, plan events and coordinate volunteer efforts. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.  This role is part of the Houston Community Engagement team and the ExxonMobil Foundation team.

What you will do

 

  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to meet corporate fundraising campaign goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with business leaders, employees, and community partners.
  • Develop and implement effective and creative communication strategies to promote campaign initiatives.
  • Maintain consistent and effective communication with donors, volunteers, and community partners.
  • Organize and oversee fundraising events and activities, including pledge drive, silent auction, and raffle.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute campaign-related events, including logistics, budgeting, and promotion.  Events include but are not limited to a campus-wide campaign kickoff event, affinity group events, and employee appreciate events
  • Collaborate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure successful events.
  • Evaluate event outcomes and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Track and report on fundraising progress and outcomes through data management systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donors, donations, and campaign activities.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making and strategy development.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support campaign activities.
  • Coordinate volunteer schedules and assignments.
  • Foster a positive and engaging volunteer experience.
  • Recognize and appreciate volunteer contributions. 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of and experience in delivering best practices in employee engagement
  • Proven experience in fundraising, data management, and volunteer coordination
  • Proficiency in data management software and tools
  • Skilled in developing and facilitating collaborative relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent oral/written communication and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated experience in project management

 

Preferred Qualifications/ Experience

  • Demonstrated 7+ years of professional experience in public relations, community relations, nonprofit fundraising, event planning or public affairs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Strong ability to effectively manage and motivate committees and volunteer teams
  • Prioritization and delegation skills for competing requests
