What role you will play in our team
Join us in helping grow our ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset system business. We are now commercializing a range of resins that have been proven in field trials to outperform the conventional materials used in the High Performance Anti Corrosion market. Our collaboration partners, formulators and applicators, are excited by the performance and business opportunity it brings.
Your role will be to lead the development of sales within the U.S. to help prospective customers convert from their existing thermoset products to ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset systems by demonstrating the performance advantages of both the coating and its application speed.
What you will do
- Lead the business development of ProxximaTM into HPAC coatings.
- Accountable for developing the sales strategy, selecting the partner accounts, and driving the programs through to sales.
- Responsible for understanding the value in use of this unique resin system and setting appropriate pricing strategies.
- Support commercial resources in other regions.
- Working with the Marketing Manager on collateral and trade shows
About you
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years in the coating industry
- HPAC: atmospheric, CUI, containers, rail, marine
- Proven ability to work with customers and introduce new products
- Knowledge of the coating formulators in Europe, preferably with an existing network of contacts
- Capable of translating market needs, technical and commercial, into a product and go-to-market strategy
