About Houston
ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What role you will play in our team
We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven ability to engage OEMs and Tier suppliers of composite parts to the US automotive industry. Working as part of ExxonMobil’s New Market Development (NMD) global team you will be responsible for leading the development of composite parts made from our new Proxxima™ thermoset resin. Proxxima™ resin has unique characteristics and RTM parts with both GF and CF reinforcement can be made at high volume with strong economic value.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural composite parts with a proven track record in developing business from ideation through to commercial sales in the automotive sector.
What you will do
- Evaluate the Americas value chain for automotive structural parts made from composite materials.
- Identify, initiate, and develop new business opportunities with OEMs and Tier suppliers in U.S./Canada/Mexico
- Manage customer relationships, programs, and activities to drive successful product adoption
- Validate and communicate the unique value proposition of Proxxima™ resin
- Identify and anticipate unmet customer needs and emerging trends
- Collect and analyze market and competitive intelligence
- Build and maintain a strong ecosystem of supply chain and industry partners
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and consortiums
About you
Minimum Skills & Qualification:

5+ years experience in automotive composites
-
Proven experience in introducing composite materials to the automotive value chain

Demonstrated ability to build and manage ecosystems of cross-industry partners

Strong track record in achieving sales targets and market growth

Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English to support global collaboration

Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly

Comfortable leading discussions on both technical and commercial topics

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes such as SMC, RTM, or Filament Winding
