What role you will play in our team
We are currently seeking a Machinery Reliability Engineer. As a Reliability Engineer you will be the owner of the machinery and rotating equipment assets on one of our major process units from a maintenance perspective – which could include; Pumps, Turbines, Compressors (Reciprocating & Centrifugal), Fans, as well of a range of specialist machines.
You will also have ultimate accountability for the reliability, availability and maintenance scope on your machines.
You will be the first-responder for technical troubleshooting of the machinery, and drive the right business decision for maintenance, intervention, upgrades and strategy. On a daily basis you will also be the key interface between, process, maintenance and engineering organizations.
About you
We are ideally seeking a recent engineering graduate (mechanical or similar) with a hands-on approach to problems attitude and willingness to learn. Also any practical experience with machinery/workshops/maintenance would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of general purpose machinery maintenance (fits, tolerances & repairs)
- Vibration analysis & troubleshooting
- Major machine maintenance execution and leadership (e.g. on a turnaround or field service capacity)
- Technician supervision & maintenance coordination
- Reliability improvement of machinery via upgrades, projects or the application of sound engineering judgment
- Root cause failure analysis
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
This role has the potential to lead within the organization to supervision/management as well as engineering career paths.
