We also supply the commercial market in Singapore and those around the region with industrial, aviation and marine fuels and lubricants, and market liquefied natural gas (LNG). We are expanding our gas, power and LNG business, transitioning to a global trading organization, and rapidly building our trading, origination & analytical capabilities.



Trading Analyst


What you will be doing:

  • Analyze LNG market fundamentals with a goal of capturing additional value and informed trading decisions
  • Provide fundamental analysis, market expertise, statistical modelling and opportunity identification to support LNG trading activities
  • Collaborate with LNG traders and originators as well as the Analytics and Operations Teams
  • Drive trading and project value-add in interactions in trading, commercial and business development


What you should have:

  • Masters’ degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics
  • At least 5 years of experience in energy or commodity trading, financial or energy risk management
  • Working knowledge or experience in one or more of the following:
    • LNG portfolio business environment or trading
    • LNG fundamentals and trading analysis (with advanced analytical methods)
    • Derivatives and energy risk management techniques, and their application to commodity trading
    • Data modelling and proficiency with R, Python or Matlab
    • Decision analysis techniques and comfortable in handling issues involving risk and uncertainty
