Occupational Health Nurse

Job Role Summary

Responsibilities

  • Administer and support the occupational health program and various mandatory medical examinations programs required by company policies and national regulations.
  • Conduct mandatory medical tests, occupational health-related education and related medical training for designated staff (e.g. first aid and CPR training).
  • Render emergency medical care.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining medical records, tracking stocks for medication, supplies and equipment.
  • Ability to perform audits and carry out audit preparation work.
  • Ability to carry out case management of occupational injuries and injuries
  • Ability to supervise and manage staff members
  • Assist employees with traveling medical requirements (e.g. preparation of medical kit, vaccinations etc).
  • Advise employees on first aid treatment and how to prevent illness and injury
  • Support and perform health screening procedures e.g. alcohol & drug test

Requirements

  • Hold a membership with the Singapore Nursing Board.
  • Relevant industrial or vocational or audit experience.
  • Relevant supervisory/management experience
  • Must possess strong communication skills, a pleasant disposition and able to work cohesively as a valued team member
  • Knowledge of computer skills such as usage of MS office applications
