Logistics Coordinator

Job Role Summary


  • Drives continuous service improvements
  • Identify structural reasons for customer complaints and work improvements if Logistics owned
  • Identify cost optimization leveraging new tools in country
  • Support Sales and Sourcing for tenders and implementation of new contracts 
  • Includes Customer Site visits as required
  • Includes study and implementation of customer specific requirements
  • Supports organizational effectiveness 
  • Optimizing local processes as custodian while leveraging systems and automation
  • Implements local initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness
  • Supports in country implementation of Global/Zone initiatives
  • Prioritized implementation of local Improvement Initiatives
  • Local Performance tracking and reporting (dashboard/scorecards) if required
  • Data collection/processing should be minimized while leveraging zone reports/analyst

Job Role Responsibilities

  • Fluent in English
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Strong process orientation and focus on continuous improvement
  • Good change management skills
  • Ability to work in virtual teams
  • Strong analytical skills supported by good system skills (e.g. TDT, Tableau) – data mining competency
  • Experienced supply chain professional but also welcome new graduated students
