Position Title: Logistics Advisor

 

     

 

 

 

What you will be doing:

   
 
  • Responsible for land logistics (container / truck) planning and execution performance to enable on time shipment of our polymers products to customers worldwide
  • Responsible for portfolio performance, budget planning and execution, while provide advice/support to internal stakeholders on short and longer perspectives (e.g. contracting, projects)
  • Lead cross functional team to proactively resolve operational constraints and mitigate customer impact, as needed
  • Steward logistics service providers (LSP) to the high standards of safety, security and operational performance to meet customer’s delivery expectation
  • Managing relationship with LSP in operations and driving mid-longer improvement.
  • Interface with industry partners/players on latest development to strengthen the operations and offering to market.
  • Key team member in logistics contracting process: strategy development, conduct qualification negotiation and execution.

 

 

What you should have:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • 4-8 years relevant experience, preferably petrochemical/chemical/refinery industry with container/truck shipment experience
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills to work with internal/external stakeholders and coordinate with cross functional teams
  • High motivation and self-driven personality to actively seek out optimization opportunities
  • Independent individual with strong ability to influence without authority with teamwork and general interest
  • Strong analytical skill with ability to dive deep into issue diagnosis and resolution development
  • Proficient in visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI) will be an added advantage
