LNG Measurement Advisor


What you will be doing:

  • Advise LNG Marketing and Operations teams in Master Sales and Purchasing agreement development and negotiations
  • Advise ExxonMobil-operated LNG Sites for LNG Measurement and Testing, and support LNG cargo operations in the aspect of:
    • Technical interface for issue identification and resolution with terminals and vessels in relation to measurement
    • Surveyors and 3rd Party Technical Advisor performance stewardship
    • Witness risk based custody transfer of cargos per the Corporate Measurement Standard (CMS)
    • Cargo reconciliation and loss analysis for delivered LNG cargos
  • Lead or support the initial or on-going development of industry standard through working group participation 

What you should have:

  • Between 5-10 years of experience in roles related to Measurement, Laboratory Specialist or GC experience
  • Working knowledge in one or more of the following:
    • Controls, Corporate Measurement Standards (MAP or HCP) and Data Integrity Assurance Framework
    • Analytical techniques used for impurities sampling and testing of LNG samples
    • Relevant industry standards from ISO, API, GPA & ASTM
    • Witness custody transfers at loading and offloading locations
    • Authoring of contractual language related to petroleum measurement 
  • Able to work independently and influence people at all levels of the organization without authority
